African Parks is seeking an experienced line pilot to work in a challenging and remote area, performing pre- and post-flight planning, inspections, and operating aircraft safely. The role requires a 2-year contract with a 6-month probation period. The pilot will be responsible for the safety and operations of all aerial and ground operations, as well as assisting with maintenance and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for conservation and wildlife, excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience in bush flying.

The Intern will help provide timely financial and technical responses to the needs of women’s rights organizations and women activists, aiming to advance women’s rights across Africa. This will involve effective research, evidence collection, translation, data entry, management, and engagement with grantees within the Sustaining Defenders’ portfolio. The position will be based in the selected candidate’s Francophone African country of residence. UAF-Africa is a consciously feminist and women’s human rights pan-African Fund, registered in Kenya and Zimbabwe.

The Sustaining Defenders Programme Assistant supports the timely financial and technical responses to the needs of women’s rights activists and organisations, aiming to advance women’s rights across Africa. The role focuses on Civic Engagement, GBV, and SRHRJ, and involves grantmaking, relationship-building, and administrative tasks. The position is based in a Francophone African country and involves some national, regional, and international travel.

The Child Protection and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Specialist will provide technical support, capacity building, and guidance on child protection and mental health and psychosocial support activities. The role will strengthen the integration of child protection, sexual and gender-based violence, and nutrition mechanisms, and support the establishment and functioning of child-friendly spaces. The specialist will also lead interpersonal group therapy sessions and support case management for girls and boys at risk or experiencing violence, abuse, exploitation, and neglect.

IFAW seeks a Communications Officer to develop and implement communication strategies that promote awareness of IFAW's projects and campaigns in Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will have strong creative writing and story-telling skills and the self-confidence and responsibility to work independently. A good understanding of regional media and an existing network of media contacts is essential to leverage positive earned media coverage of IFAW's activities.

The Consultant will conduct a Baseline Survey for the Sustaining the Gains Joint Programme to establish qualitative and quantitative Key Markers of Success and provide an independent analysis of the programme's progress. The programme aims to strengthen accountability to gender equality and women's rights in Zimbabwe. The Consultant will report to the UN Women Deputy Country Representative and be supported by the UN Women Joint Programme Coordinator and the Inter-Agency Programme Team.
